He was good, but I wouldn't put him in the top 6, either. Just me. I love that Scott Mellanby is there. He is my all-time favorite NHL player. Pretty good list, that top line is just nasty.

He was/is soft. The fact that he may have been our best player for some time is exactly the problem with this organization for over a decade. Sure he can skate like the wind, but his =/- was always weak, and I prefer guys with some grit in their game. Not all players can have that, but it's preferred.

Understood, but I am working within the parameters given to all the bloggers about assembling these teams. And let's face it, representing the Panthers in this is not easy, so I had to reach for whoever I could add to the voting lists. Technically Bertuzzi was eligible even though he played only 7 games in a Panther uni. I could not in good faith include him in the voting, even though he'd certainly be an asset to the team.

Its like the Avs having Selanne, Kariya, Fluery, Andreychuk, Hunter, and Kurri on our alltime rosters. Clearly better than a lot of players, but only had a cup of coffee with us.

Again, I get it. If I applied such stringent rules the third and fourth lines would practically be AHL players. Sad but true. But it's just a virtual game. It's for fun, while we're in lockout pain. And if you had those players on the Avs roster I'm fine with it. It just isn't a big deal. Thanks for your input.

Overall is Joe a better player throughout his career, but we are talking about what they did for the Panthers which also makes JayBo a seventh defenseman also very foolish

I said i would center Joe on the first line and i think hes the best player who ever played for Florida... Xcept maybe Bure... whats Dumb about that? Whos the best player? Id take Joe over Bure... im dumb cause of it? Unless its different for Florida and u actually only suggest a player over what he did in that said team well Bure was way better for sure. But i dont think thats the case.
